How Many People Can Join a Yacht Tour? Here’s What You Need to Know
One of the first questions we’ll ask when helping you choose a yacht is:
How many people are in your group?
That’s because every yacht has a strict capacity limit, and it’s essential to find the right vessel that can comfortably and legally accommodate everyone.
Day Tours
Most motor yachts, sailing yachts, and catamarans are licensed to carry up to 12 guests on day trips. This is a standard limit for many private charters in Turkey.
Overnight Stays
Planning to sleep on board? Then the number of guests will depend on how many sleeping cabins are available.
-
Motor yachts typically offer 2–3 cabins, which means 4–6 people can stay overnight in comfort.
-
Sailing yachts and catamarans often have 4–6 cabins, allowing for overnight stays for up to 10–12 people.
Larger Groups
Yes, we have options for bigger parties too!
-
For groups of 15–35 people, we can arrange day tours on selected large motor yachts in Kemer, Antalya, and Alanya.
-
If you’re heading to Fethiye, Göcek, Marmaris, or Bodrum, we can offer weekly gulet charters — spacious wooden yachts that can host 20+ guests overnight, depending on the layout.
Important Note
When discussing yacht capacity, every person counts — including infants.
So when planning your trip, please let us know the exact number of guests, and we’ll recommend the most suitable options for your group.
