Ölüdeniz Blue Lagoon is one of the most stunning beaches in Turkey — a place where the water glows in 50 shades of turquoise. Crystal-clear and as smooth as glass, it’s a paradise for nature lovers. Want to sit with your feet in the water while lounging on a sunbed right at the shoreline? This is your dream spot.
On the opposite side of Ölüdeniz lies Butterfly Valley — a dramatic canyon that opens into the sea. It’s a place of breathtaking contrasts: on hot days, water vapor forms a misty cap over the cliffs, casting a deep shadow on the sea below and turning the water an intense, sapphire blue. This nature reserve is home to over 100 species of butterflies, and even features a tiny hidden waterfall. You can admire the valley from above — but the beach itself is only accessible by boat.
So why are we telling you all this?
Because we can organize a private boat trip that takes you to both of these natural wonders.
A few notes to keep in mind:
-
Butterfly Valley is located in open waters, so it’s best to plan your visit for a calm day — especially if you’re prone to seasickness.
-
Ölüdeniz Lagoon is a protected area where yachts are not allowed to enter. However, we can anchor nearby in a small bay and take you in by motor dinghy.
